Construction Materials Rates

Brick Types and Grading in Pakistan:

The price of brick in Pakistan depends upon the size, quality, type and grading. The grading criteria of bricks is given below:

  • A Grade – Also Known as Awwal Eent or Brick
  • B Garde – Also known as Doem Eent or Brick
  • C Grade (Rough Surface)– Also known as Khangri Eent or Brick

Type of bricks are

  • Tassu: It is basically tin in height compared to common brick but the width of tassu is the same as the common Eent. Usually, Tassu is used in roof making and ideal for TR & Garder type roofs.
  • Brick Tile: This is a common brick type that is thin in height and large in width. All of the construction companies use this kind of brick.
  • Rora Bricks: This is a broken form of common brick uses in construction commonly in floor construction.

Sand

Sand is another cheap and readily available construction material in Pakistan. It is often used as a base for construction, as well as being mixed with cement to create mortar for bricklaying.

Cement

Cement is a key ingredient in concrete, and is also used on its own for construction projects such as walls and floors. It is relatively cheap and easy to obtain, making it a popular choice for builders in Pakistan.
